BUY, HOST, JOIN!

Here are a couple of things to tie into my topic last night on the call. I hope this will help you in your business. You are what Scentsy is...

Scentsational Ideas....Buy

• Staple a small wax sample and your business card in a little bag to the brochure. When you’re giving them awayquickly it will give potential buyers the chance to see and SMELL Scentsy. Make a sensory impact to watch yoursales grow.

• Make your own specials! Use the colorful “Make Your Own Coupon” template from www.scentsysuccess.com to create your own offers to staple to the brochure to drive sales. For example...“Place your order before 0/0/00 (date) and I’ll give you a FREE Car Candle when I deliver!”
“Come and sample my testers before 0/0/00 (date) and receive 10% off your order”
There are a lot of reasons to BUY Scentsy. Give customers a reason to do it quickly to prevent procrastination and them losing your marketing materials. Give them a deadline!

• Add an invitation to the brochure! Include an upcoming Open House date and address so that Scentsy can be experienced
first hand. Prominently feature the day, time and location. Encourage her to bring a friend by offering a prize. This is a great, low-pressure way to extend a deadline for your customer to BUY!

• If Scentsy is really new in your area, consider using the brochure as your invitation. Ask invited guests to sign it, add their phone number and pass it to a friend. The last friend in the line can return it to you and every name signed and attending can win a fun, inexpensive prize or a discount! A great way to encourage guests to “share the scentsation!”

• Let the BUY brochure advertise your basket parties! Make sure you include a handful of brochures anytime your basket testers leave your possession. Give them to the basket hostess and add a simple note:
“SCENTSY IS HERE! Don’t miss it!
“I have the testers at my home until 0/0/00, Call me!”
“SCENTSY is in the break room! Accepting orders until Friday”
“Take a smell and pass these testers to the next desk!”

• Give a brochure to every hostess to take and show off when she hand-delivers her invitations for her event! Or even give her a few so she can leave one with guests who have scheduling conflicts and won’t be able to attend. She’ll be eager to generate excitement BEFORE the party even starts so she can maximize her rewards.

• Hand out a brochure to neighbors and friends to promote special events, holidays and sales. “Perfect for Mothers Day”. Make a flyer and hand it out. Offer free gift-wrapping and don’t forget to include the last date for guaranteed orders. Make the most of months that offer 10% savings, or even hold your OWN sale on inventory!

• Hand them out at parties to guests who have friends that might like Scentsy. Have them take one, sign it, add their phone number. Tell them anyone that gets a friend to place an order and return the brochure wins a prize or additional discount.

Scentsational Ideas....Host
• Staple a booking card and an offer to the brochure and leave several out at events, display locations or shows. Ideas for the offer could include: “Call me and fill in the date and time and receive a FREE Scent of the Month” “Ask me about hosting your own event and win a prize!”

• Attach a calendar (available at www.scentsysuccess.com in the FREE DOWNLOADS area). Highlight select dates that you are available for parties and leave it out at all of your occasions!

• Attach the brochure to a basket of goodies or product to display. Add a note and let everyone know they can take it home if they book TODAY!

• Bundle the brochure in a cute bag with a car candle, your business card and invitations. Carry a few with you everywhere you go and be READY for any opportunity that might come up. Be sure you have your calendar handy!

• Look at the “average” sizes of parties - $150, $250, $500... make a list of all of the FREE and Half-Price items that a hostess could potentially get if she hosted a similar party. Attach the list to the brochure to show when you speak with a potential hostess.

• Highlight “opportune” times to host on a calendar that you can attach to the brochure. For example, “Host these weeks for optimal Mother’s Day gift sales!”. “School will be out, we’ll have plenty of time this week”. “Guests can save 10% on my product this month!” and “I have a NEW catalog coming. Be FIRST to see it!”

• Once a hostess has been booked, have her sign her brochure and give it to a friend that might like to host.
If the friend books with you, offer the hostess a gift or additional discount.

Scentsational Ideas....Join

• Never be without a JOIN brochure in your possession! Include a short, four to five paragraph note that features YOUR story. Tell them what excited you and how you’re doing. Tell them what inspired YOU to Join.

• Add a JOIN brochure in any order bag of a customer that may have asked you about your business. Handwrite a simple note that tells them they can earn a little extra money selling something they love!

• Drop one off to a friend or neighbor that may be looking for extra money in the down economy. Outline the freedom, being your own boss, the control over hours and being able to focus as much or as little attention as
you need to as you care for a family or other work obligations.

• Highlight the benefits that come when they Join YOUR team. Tell them how you train, when you are available to help, when you hold your team meetings and calls. Outline the help that comes from Scentsy corporate and the support system that benefitted your business.

• Leave several anywhere you have a Scentsy display. As more and more people look for work, you’ll want to prominently display the Scentsy opportunity.

• Leave at least one with every basket party.

• Consider an offer of a small discount, a free gift, marketing tools, etc. that you create on a FREE DOWNLOAD coupon. Add a deadline to encourage people to call.

• Always attach an invitation to an upcoming training event that they can attend and see the excitement and support that come with a Scentsy business opportunity.
